Properties: Ammonium Carbonate is a white, crystalline powder with a strong odor of ammonia. It decomposes into ammonia, carbon dioxide, and water at temperatures over 59o C.

Storage: Ammonium Carbonate should be packaged in air tight, light resistant packages. They should be stored in a cool, dry, well ventilated area. Temperature preferably should be kept at less than 90o F.
